In a press conference in his private home in Metiaut Dili on Thursday afternoon (18/06) President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste Jose Ramos-Horta commented on the allegations that a 51 year-old male Brazilian whom may be a UN employee. “I have been informed by the police and Prosecutor-General that there are such allegations. Without saying that there is evidence, it is still upon the basis of reports and allegations. If indeed it is true, of course, it is a matter of serious concern. It is a crime. Whether it involves Timorese minors or foreign minors, it is totally unacceptable,” Horta said.
He added that, “Timor-Leste is not going to be a place where people without any scruples—from wherever they are—bring minors into this country, because there are reports of forced prostitution of Chinese brought from mainland

The US will provide FBI training for our personnel,” he ended.'
Unfortunately, the US and Australia are not 'friendly nations', as must be apparent to Jose Ramos Horta. They showed just how 'friendly' they were by giving Suharto the 'green light' to invade, by diplomatic cover, preventing the UN from taking effective measures, and in the case of the US, by massive arms transfers to the murderous aggressors.
Regarding drug trafficking and money laundering, yep, the US is the place to go for advice; they know all about it, and are experts in it. But, unfortunately, on the wrong side of the fence. Search 'Meet me at Mena + video' and watch it; or read Michael C. Ruppert's 'Crossing the Rubicon', or Peter Dale Scott and Jonathan Marshall's 'Cocaine Politics'.
Ramos Horta does not have time to read these books (though he could usefully watch the video), but someone from Fretilin should read these books, and inform him of the general content.
Having been a pawn in Big Power machinations for so long, no one should think that Independence (thank God it came, and the Indonesian genocide of Timorese has stopped) means Timor L'Este is not still a pawn, this time to be conned out of their God-given natural resources.
The US, in conjunction with the UK, Europe, Japan and other centers, is intent on a One-World Government; the New World Order is not a figment of anyone's imagination, but has been planned for donkey's years, and is running to plan, unfortunately.
Timor L'Este has found many new 'Friends' since it's Independence, 'Friends' who lick their lips in anticipation of how they will rip off the Timorese, just as they have every other Third World contry they have ever been involved in.
I would appreciate it if someone in Timor passes this comment on to Jose Ramos Horta; he knows me from his time in London.
